Does anyone know anything about the XM Nav Traffic being offered on the 09's, like how it works and how it is mechanically different from the 08's? I would so upgrade to this if its possible without replacing the entire head unit. Any idea what this would require? Also with the Bluetooth, will it be an easy upgrade or is it better to just go aftermarket?

My 08 is about 3 weeks into being built... think i'd have any luck getting them to slip these options into it?

In all the systems I've seen, nav trafic it is totally integrated into the navigation/stereo system, both mechanically linking the XM satellite info into the nav, but also software wise. Virtually impossible to add.
That being said, out of all the car manufacturers out there, GM seems to make alot of their options fairly easy plug and play upgrades. It is possible that if they have been anticipating this (and had the technology completed), that it could be a simple software upgrade and wiring harness.
