I have a 05 Yukon SLT with the chrome package. It has the chrome on the front and rear bumpers, and trim pieces on the side of the doors. I've noticed that I have a little bit of rust starting to form on the chrome. It's still smooth and shiny, but it's tainted the rust color a little bit. Is there anything that will remove this without damaging the chrome? Or am I just going to have to replace the chrome pieces? And I know that this is off topic, but I'm debating having my kon painted black from its original burgandy looking color. Has anyone done this here, and does the new paint hold up as well as the original factory paint?
