I've seen in several forums, including here, where fellas use Zaino glazes and then top it with wax, and get an incredible shine. There is one black Tahoe in here that just looked incredibly deep after this- never seen anything like it. But... I emailed Zaino to ask about their products for my truck, as I was wondering exactly what would be the best process. This is what Sal Zaino sent back:
"No... Please Do not put wax on top of Zaino.!!!!! Zaino Show Car Polish is 99.9% optically perfect. Do not put anything on top of Zaino except Zaino. Waxes are loaded with oils to promote a gloss or shine and to temporarily camouflage scratches and swirls. So in actuality all you are doing is putting oil on your Zaino paint finish. That would defeat the whole purpose of my product. Zaino Show Car polish contain no abrasives, harmful solvents or silicones.Zaino will outprotect, outshine and outlast anything in the industry. It will offer more protection than any wax in the industry....Guaranteed! Plus they're extemely easy to use. Zaino polish is a true paint protectant. It will give your paint finish total environmental protection and is the only protectant youwill ever need. You will see!!!"
Obviously, much of that is a pitch for their product. But what do you guys think about that? I believe that it protects well, but don't think it lasts like many waxes. Any of you who have experience with this want to chime in?
