Slight ticking noise near thew steering column

'06 Tahoe Z-71

I'm getting this slight tick around 55-65 MPH. It seems to happen when I hit the slightest bumpiness in the roads but I can't image what it is since it is such a soft little noise.

It almost sounds like an electrical relay clicking on and off but it seems to only happen at higher speeds.

Any ideas?

I have the same symptoms. Except I also hear mine when I first start my truck.

You know, I've been hearing the same thing, I think! Except, it kinda sounds like mine is coming from the radio area? I wonder if it's really the same thing, or am I just crazy?

Clicking Relay?

I've been wondering if it is a relay. The only thing that I can think of is maybe the heated mirrors circuit?

I have a bout 2K of warranty left so I guess I'll take it in and see what the dealer has to say.

I'll let you know if I find anything out.
