TB spacer question

I have an 01 tahoe with a 5.3 and a K&N FIPK intake on it. Im wondering if its possible to pull the tube off the throttle body and put a spacer in there without stressing anything too much?

IMHO, the throttle body spacer is a junk mod. It nets you nothing.

Rubbish!!!! Get a custom tune. Stop messing around and spending your money on useless mods. TB spacers do absolutely nothing for these trucks..

ok cool thanks. I was planning on a tune from black bear as well but if i can save a 100 by not buying this then thats perfect.

X2, they are not beneficial on these engines.
