touch pad door lock

Hi I just bought a 98 tahoe. I did not get the pass code for the touch pad on the door. Is there a way to get a new code for my use?

or an exploder??? I have never seen a GM with the code on the door. Thats a ford only I think.

I regularly see a 'Kon around town that has a bowtie front license plate (the grille is debadged). I keep wanting to stop and ask them WTF?

As far as I know, GM didn't use the keypad access on any of their trucks. There are several aftermarket versions though. You'd have to figure out the manufacturer of your particular system and try to contact them to see if there is a reset procedure.
