I'm in the process of moving from the East coast to the West, and I'm considering towing my Tahoe instead of driving it. Is this possible with Uhaul, or another rental company?

Looking at their pages, it appears that my Tahoe is oversize/weight? Any suggestions?

I drive a '99 tahoe 2dr/4wd w/ R16285/75 tires...any advice is appreciated!!

Thanks,

Andy

I looked into that option several times, and came to the same conclusion each time...it's too heavy and too big (mine is also a 2dr). I think the best option is to find a good company and have them truck it across the states.
Just insure they have a good rep. I have heard many horror stories of things getting stolen or broken.

and, Welcome!

My dads friend sells classic cars and always uses Dias, when i bought the 380sl from him he shipped it to me, too 1 month and was 1500 dollars from chicago to here, but i had it crated to completly protect it. I highly reccommend DIAS.
