I have had a whirring sound that comes mostly on decceleration and when my Tahoe suspension rebounds. I replaced all bearings and brakes..no dice. Fluids are up, trans and t-case function fine. I think its related to when I power of deccel. Its like an axle is rubbing on something ever so slightly but nothing looks out of the ordinary underneath. ANYWAY...I was looking around today and noticed that I can grab the back of the trans and the t-case and move it what I think is quite a bit(about 1" maybe a lil more). I wondered if anyone else knew if the trans and t-case is suppose to be pretty solid like the rest of my vehicles. I bought a tran mount...Im thinking that might be it.
