What MPG are you getting from the 2011 Tahoe LTZ?

I am getting 13mpg with 50/50 split urban/highway I have never been even close to the EPA 21mpg advertised... Anyone else can share what is your real millage?

I even tried cruise control at 55mph but I only got 15mph in the highway only!

I even using 2wd only not even the AUTO 4WD trying to get better millage

The problem is that the engine consumes up like crazy in urban areas I have seen in the instant consumption up 80 liters per 100km at 30 mph

In the highway at 65mph it consumes 12 liters per 100kilometers

I have even tried cruise control 2WD at 55mph flat terrain and never have gotten more than 16mpg!

So obviously Chevy took for some beers the EPA guy until he read 21mpg when it was 21 kilometers per gallon?

The 0-40mph engine mapping and jetting are the problem for such a low city millage Chevy should really improve this with a firmware or chip to retrofix it

I seem to be pretty consistent around 15, but my wife keeps getting 18 out of the thing. I know she drives like a little old woman, but it still messes with my head. I'm not crazy that she knows how to drive my Tahoe better than i do. Man card surrendered.

We are on our 6 tahoe since '96. the '97 and '99 had the 5.7L motors, we could get 18MPG. Ever since the 5.3L motor, 12-15 MPG...... Current tahoe is a '09 LTZ 5.3L w/3.73 ratio. Last tahoe was a '07 w/5.3L 4.10 ratio and both got very close the exact MPG.

Got to pay to drive a nice car....
