Brand new to the forum and I need some advice. I bought a 2005 z71 tahoe with bose sound system. It had a Pioneer head unit that was very outdated. I noticed all the rear speakers were disconnected and for good reason, when I plugged them up it had terrible interference that got louder with acceleration. I thought replacing the head unit would fix the problem but it still does the annoying whine. I really hope someone has seen this and knows how to fix it. I got the wife out of a town & country for this and I am catching a lot of mouth about the stereo. The new Kenwood was professionally installed and they did put a filter on it because at first it was coming out of the front speakers as well. Could this be that the bose amplifier needs to be replaced?
