z71 package???

i am currentley ttrying to make my truck as off road as posible what does the z71 have that a plain 96 Lt does not??:cool2:

I was wondering this also a few years back. What I found was the Z71 package for your 96 included heavier high pressure gas shocks, all terrain tires, skid plates for the engine, front differential, transfer case and fuel tank. What I couldn't find out was the fender flares. Maybe someone could chime in who knows a little more. Come to think about it, I don't think I have ever seen a Z71 that didn't have the fender flares.

my 96 Z71 has the fender flares.

I had a '95 and OE were Bilstein. If they were yellow then they are probably bilstein.
