Welcome to the forum! I have not tried this personally, but I do know that coolant leaks can be checked with a black light. Although, if you have been leaking a lot it might be hard to tell where it is coming from because the fluid could be all over. But I am sure you could get a black light...

I'm from MA as well, I will be at many of the car shows in the MA area including the Bass pro shop car show which is every Thursday night and will be starting up shortly as the weather is getting nicer. I will definitely be at the Summer Nationals out in Worcester.

I am not entirely sure, as I have never used any of these Sirius units. But if should have a model number on the back/front of it. If you post that here we will do what we can to help you figure out how to get the scroll function working (if that is a feature your unit has).
