so the compressor will come on, even if i'm only doing the vent with no a/c or defrost?
i'm just wondering cause with the compressor running, doesn't that give you worse gas mileage?
I haven't checked for certain under the hood, but just with driving, it seems as if the compressor is running when I am only using the heat, either in the dash or the floor with no defrost. It's an 04 and I'm wondering if the climate control module is faulty. Anyone else noticing this problem?
luckily mine was under warranty when mine failed. took them 3 times to fix it correctly.
the noise wouldn't start until the truck heated up.
i think it might be something for the dealer or a good mechanic.
could be the carrier pinion in the front diff. mine would make a whining noise while driving and it would get worse if i would lightly feather the gas pedal.
Rear brakes are almost ready to be changed out (04 LT with about 59k miles). The piece of metal from the brake pad is starting to make contact with the rotor making the scratching noise.

alright, went ahead with this install back in the summer. Did not have to install any additional relays. I cut the existing factory wiring to the og fogs and re-routed it to the new fogs. i then tapped into the drls and hooked up the og fogs to them. So i control my aftermarket fogs with the...

yeah, i got the gas pedal off no problem. there were a few curse words and a few things thrown before i was able to get that bolt back on. damn it was a pain in the ass.
