    Please help me

break out the sawzall. thats my answer. but if your not willing to sacrifice the body, pull the shock. check and make sure it compresses. if your on a tight budget, like rolling pennies for gas, autozone has cheap shocks that will get you by that will bolt right in. you're looking at about...

like everyone else said, body lift might be the way to go. i know i spent a pocket full of money, as well as probably 96procomp. i still need to fix my rear bumper. thanks for reminding me procomp. haha

    header's

i dont recall you saying what kind of headers you were going to run. currently, i'm running the edelbrock gaskets that came with my headers. i had to do no triming, and everything lined up perfectly like someone made it just for me. i have run it through water, mud, and fine sand. yet i have...

97 Hoe Lift and tire questions

in about 2 weeks(only because my tahoe is still sitting in el paso, as i am at fort hood, and have to pick it up), i will be getting ready to draw up the brackets. i don't have the tools or supplies, but will take it to a machine shop, and have them make them for me. if they turn out good, i...

    Tahoe Of The Month

i recommend bringing a tahoe of the month forum here. every month have a different category like best lifted, dropped, under construction, loudest, cleanest, etc. whatever category for the month is, give like a week to submit they're own vehicles, then have a poll. just my opinion :lam:

    99 Yukon 6" lift

i'd have to agree with 96procomp, pro comp is the way to go. the only thing i had to modify was where the old upper control arm connected to the frame, so i can properly mount the new upper control arm mount(little redundent). but, if you found one with no mods needed, more power to ya...

    Leveling Kit?

i'm in the same boat as 96procomp. i have the 6" pro comp lift with the 3" body lift, and it ran me about 2k even. granted, i did the install myself. but if you're looking for 4.5, you're looking at about 14-15 hundred. i have yet to regear(broke as hell), but i'm running 37" tires on a...

    daul alt

i cant understand that. i mean, i totally understand the purpose behind two alternators, but i think it'd almost be easier to run a capacitor and have an extra yellow top optima connected with the other battery. but, you gotta do what you gotta do for that bass
