If the 02 Yukon is anything like the 00 Tahoe, the amp is behind the glove compartment. I personally think that if you change the HU and speaker wires, you wouldn't really notice any difference. Now if you had an amplifier between the wires and HU, that'd be a different story, in my opinion.

Does anyone know the power rating of the non-Bose factory amplifier? My deck puts out about 14 or so RMS watts per channel and I'm thinking of bypassing it but if the factory amp puts out the same power or more, I'll just keep using it. Any ideas?
