Does any one know if the radio out of a 2000 - 2006 tahoe will fit in a 97 tahoe? I want to keep a factory radio, but right now my cd player and radio are seperate and the cd player is awful, it skips 3/4 of the cd. Plus some of the newer model radios have multi-disk changers in dash, am i right?

Shouldnt the frame for a tahoe and silverado be pretty much the same, which in turn would mean the brackets would be the same? I was under the impression that chevy trucks and suvs were all practically the same, suspension, engine and frame wise.

How did it come out? How hard was the install? What size tires/wheels you running? Did you find a solution to your bumper problem? I was originally looking at a suspension lift, but due to the price and what im going to use it for i think i might go with the body lift instead.

Another thing to keep in mind, once you switch to synthetic you cannot switch back to regular oil. I dont remember the reason why, but back a few years ago when i worked at a NAPA i remember my boss telling me that.
