2008 tahoe

So my 2008 Chevy Tahoe says the LTZ with towing is at a max 8200 lbs. I recently purchased a travel trailer that's about 7700 lbs. empty. I know leaving 500 lbs. isn't the greatest, but what cushion do I have, if any, when they designed the towing torque?

Hey- Just bought a 2008 Former Gov't. Tahoe and it doesn't have a console. Was considering putting a jump seat instead or getting a console. Has anyone done this or know if it would fit? I'm concerned with the rollover sensor getting in the way and it possibly being too wide?!? Any info would...

i would like to modify my tahoe, but i don't know to what limit i can, the parts department said that i can modify the exhaust, after the catalytic converter. What other things can i do or not do, like changing the bench seats to bucket?

I need some inspiration. I have a 2008 Tahoe which has short recessed tow hooks, I need to find a way to get them to stick out in front of the bumper so that when my hot air balloon is tied to the front it doesn't damage the bumper when the line pulls upwards. Any suggestions Doug
