I think for people that like speed or have their cars tuned we should have a 0-60 thread. Then I could see if anyones is faster and see what they did =]

2007 Yukon XL Denali 6.2L
Stock Everything
Edge Evolution Extreme Mode
0-60 best time: 6.91

Slow if you ask me, but it will get faster ;)

Stock Denali (non XL) is 6.4 seconds, so it sounds about right for a XL.
Did you disengage the traction control? Mine seems to run harder with it off.

I will bet anyone $1000 that any non-supercharged Denali will NOT do 0-60 in the 6's. Whatever you guys are smoking....pass it here :)

In Dubai, if you want a ****ty number, you get it free. For a good number plate you have to pay.
5 digits free
4 digits or less u pay
2 or 1 digits = in the millions :yesnod:
Good plate = Respect :cool2:

I assume this was downhill ;)
nope, straight as can be
I tried it on a windy road and got 7.1
I read somewhere that the Denali with Edge Evolution would be 5.88 but I forgot where I read it. I was looking forward to that. Guess I gotta keep modding!

6.91 sounds right for a stock yukon xl denali.
I was using the edge programmer on extreme when I got 6.91 and i got the time from the performance test on it.
Wheres my extra 40hp then? I want it! :cuss:

A stock Yukon XL will get you to 60 a second slower then the non XL, so 6.9 is a about a half second improvement.

Sorry to dissapoint you but Edge has never been able to back up their claim of an additional 40 hp. Superchips has a dyno sheet of an additional 20 hp to the wheels w/ the 6.2L. I would be willing to bet the $1000 I just won that Edge is closer to 20hp then 40hp.

Im fine with 20hp even. 6.91 doesn't seem like +20hp. People on this forum talk about extreme mode like their is a difference. I didn't feel anything.

With the 6 speed, none of the tuners have the ability to adjust the shift points as of yet, so those with the 4 speeds tend to notice more of a difference even with less of a HP increase.

Jazejeff claimed a 7.1 0-60 which I find hard to believe. A 5.3 Tahoe runs to 60 well into the 8's and that is a pretty significant improvement. I had an '07 Yukon 5.3 with CAI, Exhaust and Tuner and there is NO way it could have hung with my Denali.
