Whatsup everyone, kind of new here.i was looking through all the posts and have been trying to find out if someone has tried or had any luck using the stock sub placement in the quarter panel compartment of the driver side. i just bought my tahoe not too long ago, and the guy played with the system a lil and im trying to re-do almost everything.
i picked up a 10" JL W7 last night and the box was bigger than i expected and i want to eliminate having a monstrous box in the back. so i was thinking to customize and clear out the spare tire tools and kind of refab the LR quarter panel compartment to fit that sub or would that not be enough air space for the sub to sound right?
if anyone has tried this what was your experience with the sound?
and if there is a DIY on this could someone point me in the right direction...
