I've got a 2004 Tahoe with bose factory speakers. Lately my car has been draining power out of no where. My mechanic has narrowed it down and said something to do with the factory amp is the culprit. I've been in my car before and have heard a slight noise sound coming from the speakers with the radio completely off, sometimes its not there.
So my guess is there some type of intermittent issue with the amp turning on enough to drain my battery if i don't drive it every day.
Anyone have any ideas on what my next step is? or should i just replace the amp?
