Hey guys, just a question regarding my 2004 Chevy Tahoe. I'll be the first to admit I haven't taken great care of it, but the body on it is starting to rust out...mainly the bumper, wheel wells and inside the lower doorway. I've seen this same identical symptom on several Tahoes in that same year...so I suspect it isn't exclusively due to negligence in keeping it clean/waxed.

I'm wondering if there are some inexpensive options to get it back up to par body wise...maybe a body kit? I think taking it to a body shop and redoing the metal work won't be worth the cost. Other options are to just get the bumper and wheel wells replaced but deal with the inside door trim (lower section of it, I assume water/condensation builds up there?

Any thoughts/recommendations?

Im assuming you live somewhere where the city throws out salt like theres no tomm. Best advice, body shop. Pricey but it sure beats out putting a body kit on a rusty truck. Also try lmctrucks.com
