2007 LT New Key Fob/ Lost Remote Start

Hello guys,

I just picked up a really nice 2007 Loaded LT and it came with the usual 1 key and fob, so my buddy works at a used car dealership he says come by i will see if we have one.....

I go there he has a huge box of fobs, I found a match ! Same exact OEM key fob, I google how to marry/learn new fob, and in 5 minutes its working, doors lock unlock, power rear hatch opens, all good, well guess what >??? the factory remote start does`nt work, on the old fob and the new one !

Any ideas on why this happened ????? thanks in advance
