Hi all, new here.

06 Tahoe with bose system

My question is probably a simple one for someone here (hopefully).

I have already installed an aftermarket stereo with rca outputs for an amp. I used a crux interface to retain the factory amp and speakers with chime functionality. My question is, can I keep the factory amp to power the system, and just run rca wires from the stereo to a new amp to power aftermarket subs without and conflict between the factory amp and the afternarket amp? I want to retain all the factory speakers and tweeters if possible without having to install a new speaker amp.

Let me know if you need any more information or if something is vague.

Thanks in advance.

Btw I've searched and searched on this only to get a million results about "bypassing bose amps" and "installing aftermarket stereo in bose systems". Nothing really about the situation Im trying to figure out.

So you have an after market radio in, and your chimes still work because you're using the crux interface to keep the factory amp?

Do you want to keep the chimes or does it matter if you get rid if it?
