I have a 2008 Tahoe LT3 and the only option I wish I would have added is the rear seat entertainment. Anyone have a recommendation on a manufacturer? Should I add headrest screens instead?

The headrest dvd's have some pro's and con's. Pro's are you can watch one or two different movies, one movie and one game system. The dvd's act independently of each other, or together. They also don't block the rear view mirror. They do have a high cost, $1900 installed at the dealer, and if anyone in the third seat wants to watch, they have to lean.

I bought a 10" drop down off e-bay.
The only connections where for a hot wire and ground. They hooked off the interior light wiring over head. The DVD had lights also pre wired. The DVD worked off the radio like a old FM convertor did. You could even use the cordless head set's with it. I bought it for my golfcart.

Myron and Davis make replacement headrests with built-in dual input monitors that can be perfectly color and grain matched to almost any vehicle. You can pick up a set for about $1000 and have them installed for under $200. Good thing about these is that you can re-install your original headrests if you ever sell/trade-in your truck.

Thanks for the assistance. I'll start watching ebay for the Myron Davis headrests. Now I need to find someone in the Cincinnati area to install.

I went with a kenwood 10 or 11 inch drop down moniter/dvd. I love it, keeps the kids quiet!
