.AVI to DVD?

Hello, I am trying to burn some .AVI video files to DVD to play in my 2009 Tahoe Hybrid w factory Nav/DVD. Has anyone had success doing this? Any tips?
I am using DVDFlick to convert a series of AVIs to DVD format, but the truck says DISK READ ERROR. The DVD works on most everything else I have tested it on.

Try using Nero. Select Burn to DVD, load the AVI files and click Burn. It's that easy.
