Heavy blue smoke from exhaust on start up. Rough idle on start. Smoke goes away after about 10 minutes.
Note: A few weeks ago I had white smoke coming from the exhaust. Smelled sweet, definitely coolant burning. No evidence of oil burning. Diagnosis by mechanic was intake manifold gasket. No another culprit. He did the work and replaced that gasket.
This blue smoke just started happening. Could there be a connection with the recent repair? The car does have 220k miles on it. Hoping not rings, perhaps valve seals?
Any advice appreciated. Even how to diagnose what's what.
