Compressor level Control sensor

I took my 03 GMC Yukon XL in service because my service ride control lightis on. The GMC dealer told me that the compressor level control senor needs to be replace. The part from them is very very expensive. have any body had this problem? What did you do?

My 2005 Tahoe just showed in the display "Service Ride Control," however the compressor seems to cycle normally. The display triggers the instant the air bleed valve trips on drive away. Strange that the compressor cycles normally. Anyone run into this?
