Does anyone know the color of the original rear diff fluid on a 2000 tahoe? I just changed the fluid and it kind of had a slight bluish color. I'm not sure if this was the original fluid or not since it has 80,000 miles. I can say I was not very impressed with it. I took it for a ride before changing it and it was pretty foamy when i drained it. The gears looked to be in good shape although there was a fair amount of silver sludge on the magnet. I refilled w/ mobil 1 75w90. So far so good.
