Driver side door lock 2008 LTZ

When using the remote or the lock button on the door the driver door will not lock or unlock but you can slightly see the manual lock trying to move. The manual lock works fine and does not seem stiff so I am not sure what's going on. Any ideas?

The dreaded and all-too-common Tahoe power door lock actuator death problem is my guess. The motors in them are doo-doo and they fail. Only solution is to replace the door lock actuator.
