Soo I want to put fender flares on my 99 4 door. There seems to be quite a difference in the price range of the 2 door and 4 door. Could I just buy the 2 door flares and modify them for a 4 door?

I suppose it is not impossible, any modification is possible, but I seriously doubt it would be a feasable option and end up being much more trouble than it would be if you just spent the additional money to purchase the correct part.
What kind of price difference are you talking about? What manufacturer have you priced? When I was looking at fender flares I do not recall a significant difference in price between models?
