i would like to replace the 38 in. ground hawgs on my lifted 99 tahoe 2dr 4wd with some military HMMWV ones but the rims on them are 8 lug and my truck is a 6 lug. my questions are 1. do i need spacers to run the 37 X 12.5 X 16.5 tires and 2. would it be better to weld a 6 lig plate on the rim or get the conversion parts?
