How Do I Install A Bose System

What all do I have to switch to upgrade to the Bose system? I have a friend who has Pickup that he is about to installed a sound system in and I can get everything for $150 except for the navigation radio. (I don't want the radio) Is there an amp involved and if so where is it located?

Yes there is an amp involved, but seriously, save your money and upgrade your audio with some good speakers and a new amp...

definatly dude. Skip the bose, go get some infinitys or kickers. Much better than the blows in the 07 and up. 03-06 sounds great, love theirs, but the 07 up just sucks major balls.
