How Do I Kill DTRL?? Auto Fog Lights On?

How do I kill the Day Time Running Lights for good. I know I can turn dial to kill them temporarly.

Anyone know how to make Fog lights come on automatically?

Well, a cheesy way to do it would be to cut the DRL wires and the fog wires and swap them, so that the fogs were on always and the DRLs would be on when you hit the fog switch... They are probably different gauge wires though, so it might not work.

only problem i see with that though, is you cant use your fogs at night then, and the fogs put out more light than the DRL's.

Sorry, I just want to kill DRL and have foh lights come on with headlights.

Sorry to hack the thread, but how do i get mine to come on? The bulb is there wiring but they don't come on.

Why don't you just remove the bulbs from the drl's?

Thats what I figured, just wanted to make sure first. No warning lights are thrown?

I know there is no warning on the last Gen Trucks since I know that I can drive around town for 10minutes and see 20 Tahoes with one DRL out.:lol:

i did this on my 06, but the fog relay is way to far from the highbeam relay for that to work. sucks. :cuss::cuss:

Pulled fuse 31 underhood for the DRL and works perfect. So that takes care of that.

Now the fog lights???
