I'd like to have one more seat in my tahoe. I've looked into the little passenger website but $500 is a little steep.
Here's my idea so let me know if its safe or room for improvement.
I find a center console seat from say a silverado. It appears to have very straight forward feet to be bolted down.
Now, I weld a square bracket maybe out of 1/4 steel strips then bolt the seat to the frame preferably with some kind of quick release bolt. Then bolt the frame into the cargo tie downs.
Wish I could sketch it out for y'all to see but try and use you imaginations
