I have version 1.0 and have seen versions has high as 5.0. Is it time for a new disk or are the version numbers for different applications? TIA

Do you have a 2007? If so, you're entitled to two free updates. Check out the GM Nav disc center, www.gmnavdisc.com Update your info and put in your VIN, and they'll mail you a card so you can request a disc.

OR, since that seems kinda stupid (and time-consuming), just call them and give them your name address and VIN, and they'll just send you one.

The latest version for a Yukon / Hoe / Burb is 3.0.

For 2008, GM got cheap and doesn't offer any free nav updates. Isn't that nice?
