Need help programing factory security!!

Hello!!

I finally got me alarm key

The problem is, is I cant seem to get my car past the first honk :lol:

Does anyone have detailed instructions on how I can program the key FOB?

They are BRAND new so I dont think that they
are not working or anything...

I just think that it is user error, cause like I mentioned...I cant get passed
the first HONK :lol:

Please help!!
Info: MY02 GMC YUKON... I am pretty sure that it has factory security.
Because when I bought the car, the dealership used their FOB to unlock it and take me for a test drive.

Also, When I purchased the vehicle... Before the let me drive it off, they put this little black thingy into a harness looking thing under my seat belt... luckily, I saved the packaging to the unit.

It is called a "KARR HIGH PERFORMANCE SERIES 3 DEACTIVATION KEY PACK"

Do you think that the above item that the dealership cliped on before I drove off some how deactivated my factory key less entry?

amen, cool...you got it...

get close to your truck, press and hold down the lock and unlock buttons, at the same time for 15 seconds...the trucks doors will lock and unlock if it resets. If it doesn't, see your local dealer...just not THAT one.

That sounds fishy, I'm assuming you bought the truck used since its an 02 but did they have keyless entry as an option?? And you opted not to get it? Maybe they installed that piece because they didn't want you to have it? Just guessing here..

I got it working, simple google search and a few minutes later. Thanks fellas..

Also, I had to remove that little clip thingy to get it to work.
