Well I couldnt take it anymore and had to get these. I didnt realize how handy they are since I took them for granted on my truck. Got them from basspro for like $34 (reg 49.99).

Next mod is the Chevy exhaust tip. Currently on order. Wonder if my wife will notice all the new stuff added? probably not hehe

Used to love them when I smoked. Always good in the rain and snow for that. Also when the car is parked in summer, they vent the car really well. I was thinking about adding these, but was looking to do the 'in channel' version. Not smoking any more (month 3) and no more snow or rain really for that matter (moved to Vegas), but the venting would be good.

I went with the 3m tape ones because I know of a few people who have broken multiple sets of the in-channel visors. I broke 2 myself on my moms Hilander. The 3m tape ones are still on my silverado 8 yrs later so i figured you cant go wrong with these.

Good to know! I hadn't had the issue, but that was on a Cherokee a.k.a. All Square. Anyway, keep on modding.

So there's two types then, one tapes on and the other locks into the window channel I guess? I'm thinking about these too, don't really like the look but I can imagine how much easier it is to have the window open- right now I have to crack the back one to help with it. Maybe having a black truck with soon to be tinted windows will help it blend...
Oh, and you're wife won't notice anything as long as she doesn't see the boxes coming in! I TELL mine what I do and she still doesn't realize anything, one of the beauties of women!

I think the color matched one's look better.

I agree that's why I got these from the dealer...They were a little more ($130.00), but I think the look is worth it.

I have the AVS in-channel ones. I like the look way more than the stuck-on ones because they look less... stuck on ;).

I used to have the WeatherTech In-channel ones and they are a pain to install and I agree they are easy to crack. That's why this time I bought the AVS ones. They are much easier to install and don't fit as tightly as the Weathertechs to cause a problem.
