Power Running Boards Issues

Anyone having a problem with their power running boards not working due to excess ice/snow buildup?

Mine quit working until I crawled underneath and chipped away all of the snow and ice buildup.

Same problem with my power liftgate?

Maybe a result of living in Wisconsin with a lot of snow and extremely cold temps (-15F and wind chill -35 to -40)???

For the powerlift gate chevy has an Document # 1995519 : power lifegate Inoperative in Cold Weather. will not work if temperature is below -14 C (6.8F) See your dealer and have your software check
