Radio controls on steering wheel

Hi
Does anyone know the GM part numbers for the DIC/radio control buttons on the steering wheel?

I have a couple that do not illuminate.

Good luck. I posted this a month ago about my 2004 Hoe and no hits.

You might try calling a dealership Parts House and ask them. I tried to see if the buttons would come out and were easily removed, but I don't want to damage the steering wheel... and they did not seem to come out easily.

Let us know what you find out.

I had found these instructions on the internet. Someone did a good job documenting how to do it and included nice pics.

Here are the part numbers and on the bottom gives the web site for ordering. They are cheaper than getting them at the dealer. I am placing an order today and will give it a shot.

Today the last buttons went black. I desided to order only the 3 already black buttons so now I have emailed the seller to try to alter or cancel the order to get the 4th button as well.

Luckily I was able to reach the guys so that they will include the 4th control button.

Today I replaced all the controls on the steering wheel. I removed the wheel, and removed the plastic cover on the back, and took off the plastic clip holding the plug to the controls. This gave enough wire to easily pop 'em out and remove the wire/plug. Recommended over just trying to replace them with the wheel in place. The wires on the top controls are way too short and the procedure I used was a breeze.
