I know I'm going to get flamed for this but it'll be worth it...I did a search and looked in the owners manual both in hand and PDF. Can somebody tell me step by step how to work the remote starter?

1. I unlock than lock the doors.
2. Hold the start button.
3. Unlock it, get in, put the key in the ignition, turn it
4> And it stalls!!!!

What am I doing wrong?

I just hit "lock" then hold the start button. When you get in, don't turn the key all the way to the start position; just turn it to run. Brake, look, shift, go...

If that doesn't do it, take her back for a lookie-loo by the dealer!

I agree.. Only thing I will add is keep in mind that the auto start will only run for 10mins then it shuts down. Also you can turn the key all the way to start. It doesn't matter. I've done both run and start, both give me the same result, all my gauges come on, Radio, and I'm ready to go. This is if your talking about the GM version that comes on the Tahoe or Yukon.

One day I used remote start (it was kind of cold out) and I noticed both front seats had the seat warmer turned on. I thought man that is pretty cool.

But the other day when I went to show off the feature, the seats did not come on, but it was warmer outside air.

Does anyone know if there is an outside air temp that the seat heaters come on w/remote start and what that number is? I'm going to guess below 45 outside.

I'm not sure if the weather has anything to do with it. Last winter I tried to start it with the remote and it would not start the outside temp was about -2. (It sat outside in snow all night.) I had to run out to the car and start it manually. Has this happened to anyone else??

The owners manual says when it's cold out, the seats will come on and so will the heater. When it's hot out, no seats, but the A/C will come on.
When you get in and turn the ignition to run, seats go off and heat goes to where it was before the remote start.
Also, factory preset it to run for 10 min then shut off. You can extend by another ten minutes, but need to read the directions.
Pretty cool.
Really wishing I didn't give it to my wife!!
