Hi Guys. Glad to find this forum. I ressurected 1998 5.7l Tahoe, bought from a friend who had garaged it since 2016. So far, new fuel pump, fuel filter, ujoints, oil change, charged air conditioner.
It idles and revs great in the driveway. But stumbles hard on the road when accelerating. Up hill is even worse and wont run with the ac on. Anybody experience this oddity? Befuddled here and not ready to pay a mechanic through the nose (yet)
