should you be able to remote open liftgate with remote when doors locked?

I can still open my liftgate after the doors are locked using my remote...is this correct? Seems like it should not...what if I am walking away and accidentally hit the liftgate button and it opens up!?!?

You can open the rear liftgate with the key remote even when the doors are locked. I doubt you would ever accidentally do this as you have to hold down the remote button for the liftgate for a few seconds before it will activate.

Yep, you have to "mean" to do it...it takes a second or two of holding it down...
