I need help with my 2008 Tahoe. While in Drive my truck makes a rattling type sound when foot is lifted off the pedal. I've taken my truck to 3 shops so far.
Shop 1: After an overnight stay I was told it was the transmission but to get a 2nd opinion.
Shop 2: I took my truck to a transmission specialist. Never heard the sound before. Kept it 3 days. After thinking it was the transmission he diagnosed it as a problem with the engine. Transmission is in tip top shape
Shop 3: Says it's not the transmission but a part called the transmission transfer so I'm currently waiting for the mechanic to get a price for the part
Someone please tell me if that makes sense. I just want my truck fixed
