Tire size?

Stupid newbie question? Was wondering what the standard size tire is on the 1999 Tahoes? I am looking at a 99, and the tires on the truck are 35's and the guy said the original spare is a 33 on the bottom of the truck. Was wondering if the 33 is the standard tire size?

Standard tire size on the tahoes are 245/75/R16 and 265/75/R16
a 33 in. tire is usually a 285/75/R16 so they do not come stock.

ok thanks, i didnt think that was right. Also, where can i go and get my speedo recalibrated. Or did i answer my own question by going to the dealer.

Because its an electronic speedometer unit dealerships can't recailibrate them. I know because i called today and just found out, they have recalibration kits you can buy, probably 250 bucks or 4 -500 for an entire tuner.

I have another question, so the truck that i put a down payment, it has a 7 inch lift with 35 inch mud graplers. Was wondering what size tires i could get, with 18 inch rims, and i dont want it to look funny would the normal stock tires look bad?
