im having a problem finding exactly which one is the fill plug on a 99 tahoe transfer case.
there is an allen plug on the passenger side that is near the top and facing downward, and there is also a regular hex head plug on the rear of the transfer case facing the rear near the bottom. im assuming the second is the drain and first is the fill but i think i need to double check.

thanks.

Trans-case filler

I just recently rebuilt my trans-case and its going to be the upper one on the back side. The easiest way to accomplish filling the trans-case is get a cheap little hose adapter that will fit on the oil jug. Prob cost ya about 5-10 bucks but its really the only way to get the oil in it, unless you have a reversable might vac or something of the sort. Anyway good luck to ya!
