So I bought newer Z-71 rims about a year ago and I wanted to black them but didn't want to spend a ton to powder coat them or anything, but one of my buddies found out about this stuff called Plasti Dip. Its more like a rubber protective coating but black haha Ive seen a lot of other people do it to their rims online so I thought I would to.. it only costed me $20 for 3 cans and that was enough for 4 coats on each rim.
the cool thing about it is that if you don't like it or youre ready to go back to factory color you can just pull it off. (look at some plastidip videos on youtube)
thinking about plastidipping my whole Tahoe Matte white. only $450 on dipyourcar.com
I also used night shade and clear coat to black out my tail lights!
