Hi, Our 2008 Tahoe Z71 did not come with factory crossbars. That's OK as I have a ton of Yakima stuff from oul old Jeep I can use.
Yakima can't tell me what tower should fit my factory roof rails. Not in the fit guide and when I called them I got the smae answer. "We've not seen a Z71 yet." I purchased a "Lowrider" set from REI, but it looks like it will not fit. It's too wide and even tightned down will not really grab the OEM rail.
Who here has put an aftermrket rack on an 08' Z71? I need your advice. Thanks, -Steve
