What size are the rims; bolt pattern, width, offset? You can fit that size tire on a lot of 22" rims that could possibly fit a Tahoe, albeit a really small sidewall. I wouldn't recommend a tire like that on a large SUV. It would look really funny anyways unless it was slammed.
Well thing is - I traded in my 03 explorer on a 06 tahoe, and I took the rims off prior. The width is 9.5. The bolt pattern I believe can fit 5 and 6 (there are more lug holes than the oem). On the offset, would it say on the actual tire? I know the small 35 series tire would look ridiculous, I'd upgrade the tire to 40/45 if possible.
You might be ok with the rim, depending on the offset. If it has an offset that fits the Tahoe, it might end up looking a little ghetto fabulous with the rims sticking out well past the fender lip. If it doesn't and you get a larger tire, I'd recommend something around a 295 or 305 with a rim that wide. I run a 305/40/22 and am happy with the look.
