my buddy at work has a 2001 silverado, he has put 4 driverside window motors in the past year is this a problem everywhere?

Check to make sure there isn't anything binding up in the regulator assembly and everything is moving smoothly. If not, this puts extra strain on the motors and will wear them out more quickly. Also, is he using new, quality motors? Used? Or even real cheapos?

5th motor from the dealer apparently alot of the chevy trucks have this problem

Not sure what to say but my friend had a problem when he do this in his Chevy truck parts and he needed to bring his car in a car shop.
