I have a 2007 hoe. Just dropped $1500 on subs, 26's are in the near future. Anyone have any ideas for any more customizations that would be cool? Other than grille and Neons, I'm out of ideas! What do you think?

De badged and removed moldings

I De badged mine and tore off the side moldings, then paid a body shop 20.00 to go around and remove all the glue that held on the emblems and especially those long side moldings.

If I have time after work I'll clean her up and put some more pics up. The Minnesota winters make it hard to keep stuff clean! Plus they are talking 12-16 in of snow for wed! ISH! :Insane:

Well, I can see that you clearly love your music. What kind of head-unit do you have? Also, and idea that I have had for my truck... but involves some fun custom mounting. I want to buy a tablet and build a removable/foldaway mount which is attached to the center console of the truck, and then will be safely stored in the center console. This mount will then hold a tablet of your choice while you are driving (people thought having a nav system that also played your music was cool). Now imagine having a tablet that can surf the web and you can listen to ANY song you want ANY time you want.

1. Pick your tablet
2. Design/find someone to design the mount and make it.
3. If you don't get a tablet that is compatible with 3g/4g, you can get a wifi receiver antenna for your truck.

Just throwing ya some ideas, I got plenty more rattling around up here if you want some more. Also willing to help out with the planning of these ideas if you need someone to bounce things back and forth with as to how to do something.

Nice! I know what you mean about cleaning them, It hasn't snowed much here this year, but the wife's Yukon still had salt on it yesterday and looked nasty so I made the 15 yr old wash it yesterday while it was nice and warm. Like I told the wife, any chance I can get to get that crap off of it, but they are few and far between.

@ gibsonsynthetics, nice ideas indeed! I like the turning the vehicle into a mobile hotspot of sorts. You should be able to at least tether to a mobile device and as long as you have signal, etc you have the internet you need/want. In urban areas that should be real good, while it could be spotty in rural areas. I am out in the building right now tethered to my blackberry because I need to get a wifi signal booster. The speed is comparable to cable internet.

Ooh! It hadn't occurred to me that I could tether to my phone. Does that get pricey if you are stream music over a long period of time? I only have the options for up to 4GB through AT&T and go through most of it pretty quick just running pandora.

Well, that is the catch there, Uscellular has a monthly limit of 5Gig and Verizon is 2Gig a month. I have umlimited just because I set mine up several years ago and have never upgraded the account, just my phones and I was grandfathered with the unlimited. That is the part I didn't think about in the previous post...lol

That deck is a Pioneer AVH-3200DVD I believe! And that is a good idea! I think I saw a video on youtube of something like that? I'll see if I can find it!

Thats why I like sprint, they have unlimited data "the only cell company that offers truely unlimited plans" and with my evo 3D being rooted I can tether up to 8 devices at a time, if you dont have a rooted phone it cost 10 bucks a month for that option. and I agree with the comment on pioneer products, love them, I have a pioneer amp and deck in my 87 4runner "my offroading toy" and both of them have been in there for 8 years now still running strong, that my not sound like along time but if you factor in that my truck is a convertable and i leave the top off all the time through rain mud sand and snow its pretty impressive, the cd players drop down face dont stay locked in that well while driveing "do to the hordcore boucing and jumping the truck goes through offroad" but a stick used as a wedge fixed that problem.
